Whispers Of Suicide
Don't give thoughts of suicide any amount of space in your mind. Suicidal thoughts like to take control and make things sound simpler than they really are. Suicidal thoughts try to erase the important things in your life, limit your ability to reason, and swallow up your feelings of self-worth.
Even though they are quiet, don't keep the whispers around. They are dangerous and need to be stopped before they get louder. These thoughts are not who you are. Dismiss them. Let go of those negative thoughts right away. When they start forming, replace these thoughts with clear statements of purpose. It will be difficult at first, but it will get easier as you take control and train yourself to think in a more mindful way.
Think of your reasons to keep going. Make a Safety Plan, including getting rid of anything that might not be safe for you. Empower yourself with beliefs that establish the importance of your life and your reasons for living. Claim your place in this world. The world needs YOU.
